Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic will be the guest of honour at the meeting of heads of government of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
The agenda includes topical issues related to the functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and discussion of the main results of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s work.
The participants will focus on intra-union cooperation on the digital agenda as well as cooperation between the member states on veterinary medicine, agriculture and the alcohol market of the EAEU. They are expected to sign international agreements on breeding livestock and promoting union-produced jewellery on third countries’ markets.
A ceremony will be held to sign the agreement on the free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on one side, and the Republic of Serbia, on the other.
In addition, a statement will be adopted to mark the fact that the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the EAEU and the People’s Republic of China dated 17 May 2018 comes into force on 25 October.
